FAQ

How is the software able to cope with low-complexity regions in the submitted sequence?

Filters are currently embedded within the CoDx Design software to exclude between 4-6 mononucleotide repeats (level of exclusion is dependent on whether an absence-presence or allele-specific design mode is selected). The software will automatically reject any design if the repeat is longer than the predetermined limit.

If a design is required which contains these repeats, this can be made manually. However, the design software will issue a warning that the inclusion of the repeats may lead to an increased likelihood of a higher failure rate.
