The Stellaris universal controls hybridise to the polyA tail of both immature and mature mRNAs to produce a well-known fluorescence pattern consistent with their cytoplasmic and nuclear distribution.

ATTO 647N has a similar ex/em spectra (646/664 nm) to Quasar 670 (647/670 nm) and can be detected in the same channel.
