Stellaris® FISH Probes, Human NFIX_intron with CAL Fluor® Red 610 Dye consists of a set of dye-labeled oligos mixed and pooled into a final delivered amount of 5 nmol, which yields approximately 200-400 hybridizations under standard conditions. Designed to detect NFIX transcripts in specimens using fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH). Design Criteria: Product was designed against nuclear factor I/X (CCAAT-binding transcription factor) NFIX a.k.a. NF1A; MRSHSS; SOTOS2 (NCBI gene ID:4784) and nucleotides 34784-35783, 82341-82652, 82728-83136, 83258-84765, 84903-85902, 87967-88966, 91087-92086 of NG_032925.1. This is an inclusive probe set designed to detect all known NFIX pre-mRNAs. The probe set has not been tested for potential cross-hybridization to RNA(s) of paralogous and orthologous gene(s) in the same or other species.

Properties:

  • Absorption Maximum (Lambda Max):

    590

Product usage:

Please note that reconstituted probe mix should be subjected to a minimum number of freeze-thaw cycles. For daily and short-term use, the mix can be stored at +2 to +8 °C in the dark for up to a month. For long-term use: We recommend freezing reconstituted probes in the dark at -15 to -30 °C for storage lasting longer than a month. Protocols: Detailed protocols by sample type can be found here: https://www.biosearchtech.com/stellarisprotocols.
